Mulatto: Not for Sale is a bold confrontation of race relations in modern day America, as told through the author’s personal experiences as a Mulatto, born and raised in the Midwest US in the 1980s. Journey between the lines through 15 poems of various unconventional styles (mixed folk grow accustomed to doing things our own way). This chapbook challenges the US racial caste system and explores and exposes the mixed-race experience to call for a return to unity consciousness, a life beyond Black and White.
