Week 44 UK Chapbook Chart 2016

whittlings_paul_f_lenzi_poet-copyThis week Whittlings by Paul F. Lenzi returns to the Number 1 spot (last No.1 – Week 39, 2016).  Lenzi’s first chapbook is a departure from his many full length collections, yet even in this smaller format his original poems give currency to some of the most complex of our human experiences. Buck describes Perfectly Formed as a Micro-Chapbook of Micro-Poetry. Hope, Love, War, Peace, Light, Dark. A tiny gift of hope in a sad, strange world.

Paul F. Lenzi’s tells us more about himself, “I am the father of three adult children, each of whom holds my undying love and irrepressible pride. Grandfather of eleven heartwarming youngsters, whom I can never see often enough. One of the early baby boomer generation. Retired Manhattan insurance company executive. Lifelong resident of New Jersey until retiring to rural New Hampshire in 2005. A first generation American born to Italian immigrant parents. Rutgers University alumnus: philosophy, ethics and political science. A proud member of the Academy of American Poets, the Poetry Society of America, the Poetry Society of New Hampshire, Mensa International, and the NRA. Numerous professional affiliations abrogated by retirement.”
